Show Off

There are many great ways to show off your badges.  What is important is to be proud of your accomplishmensts and share your learning with others.  Choose one or more of the methods listed below or come up with your own!

Brag on Social Media

Go to Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook or your favorite social media profile and brag about each and every badge you earn.  Be sure to include the image of the badge and a link back to the badge page so others can learn more.

Print and Display

Badges are great to print in color and display loud and proud where students, colleagues and administrators can see them.  Find a place to display these in your classroom that works for you, but the first place that should come to mind is right by your name outside the door.  Start with a white background, though if you have Google Educator Certification proudly show off THAT badge and use a yellow background.

LinkedIn is THE social media platform for all professionals and all teachers should consider having an active profile.  To make things easy for teachers, all TLC badges have an associated Creedly badge that you can claim when finished.  Learn more about how to add your Creedly badges to LinkedIn.

Post to your Own Website

If you have a website, digital portfolio or online resume on another site  (even the about me page on your grade level website) add your badges.  Be sure to include the image of the badge and a link back to the badge page so others can learn more.

Add to your Email Signature

Let others know about your accomplishments!  Add the badges you have earned to your email signature so that everyone you talk to can see your great work.  Directions here.

Collect Incentives

Keep an eye out in your email for various incentives that will be offered for completing your first badge, completing a badge as a team, completing 5 badges, and even completing certain badges and more.
