Information
TLC: Technology Learning Challenges are designed to help teachers learn about the technology they need and want to know about in a fun self-paced learning environment. Compete against yourself or others but most of all learn! Feel free to show off the badges you earn in your own way. Any questions or concerns, please contact MRS Susan Hefley.
These Challenges were designed with the teachers and students at Malvern Elementary in mind but are full of great ideas and concepts that all teachers can benefit from (with slight adjustments from campus to campus). Whether you are a Malvern teacher or not: Welcome. Please use what we have created and challenge yourselves to earn these badges. When you are complete, DO take the final survey. The last questions will ask you where you teach at and if you would like to be part of our Leader Board. Please answer honestly as this information will help us to improve.
Badges
How to Earn Badges
For your TLC (Technology Learning Challenge) teachers will be asked to learn more about specific technology related topics, follow prompts and complete tasks. Each badge is different and has different requirements. Click on the badge you would like to earn to learn more about the specific requirements for each badge. For each TLC keep YOUR classroom and learning goals in mind, no two teachers will have exactly the same outcome as each classroom and teacher is unique. Each TLC includes directions and resources, FAQ, the challenge itself, a section for feedback, and its own hashtag. After completing these requirements they may claim their badge. Badges are awarded on the honor system.
When?
TLC is designed to be completely self paced. Go as fast or as slow as you would like. Start as soon as you can and finish each challenge in a timely manner to make the most of your learning. Come back and continue to earn as many badges as you can.
